Tumblr’s 2021 Top K-pop stars and groups revealed in year end review

Tumblr revealed its top K-pop stars and groups of 2021 with its annual Year in Review!

Tumblr’s annual ranking is based on it’s fandom data, which tracks moves in users conversations and engagements about artists or groups and entertainment topics on the reblogging site.

As of this year BTS placed 13th which ranked this year’s “Top 21 of 2021,” most talked-about topics on the platform.

Further showing their influence within the K-pop community BTS also held onto their spot at No. 1 on the list of 2021’s Top K-Pop Groups, with Stray Kids and ATEEZ  remaining n their respective positions at No. 2 and No. 3 from last year.

We’ve listed below Tumblr’s Top 40 K-pop Groups for your convenience (the numbers in italics indicate how many spots moved up or down in ranking compared to last years list.) :

To conclude 2021’s “Year In Review”, Tumblr announced its list of the Top K-Pop Stars of 2021, with BTS’s members reigning for the second time all top seven spots (in the exact same order as the past two years).

Aside from BTS, other notable group mentions that had all its members make this year’s list were Stray Kids, NCT 127, ATEEZ, WayV, Red Velvet, and MONSTA X.
