On December 24, 2021 the agency HYBE Labels revealed on Weverse, that Suga from BTS is suffering from Covid. The agency further stated that Suga was not in contact with the other members and they will keep the artist’s health their first priority.
Suga traveled to the US with other members for several professional reasons. BTS even attended the American Music Awards, Late Night Show with James Corden and they even held a four day offline concert at LA. After the following activities, HYBE Labels announced that BTS will be going on a short break.
Few members came back to South Korea while others including Suga stayed back in the US for personal reasons. Upon returning back to Korea after a few days, Suga took the PCR Test that confirmed his positive results.
